Connect across cities, collaborate through language and the arts, and construct meaningful bilingual projects together.
Working in bilingual pairs, students aged 14–16 in New York City and Madrid explore exhibitions, permanent collections, and artistic expressions from both cultural contexts through a guided, arts-inspired extracurricular experience. Designed as a Project By Design programme, Entwin-ed turns language learning into a living, collaborative practice — bridging languages, cities, and perspectives.

How it works
Each Entwin-ed project unfolds through three stages that invite students to connect, collaborate, and construct across Spanish and English.
1. Entwin-ed Connects
It begins with connection. Entwin-ed pairs students from New York City and Madrid based on shared interests, creativity, and language ability. Each partnership starts by listening, questioning, and discovering common ground — establishing trust and curiosity across cities.
2. Entwin-ed Collaborates
Students then follow a personalised calendar of guided research and artistic exploration. Through shared prompts, reflections, and light weekend meetings, partners exchange ideas and perspectives — bridging time zones through thoughtful, flexible collaboration.
3. Entwin-ed Constructs
Finally, partners create together. Drawing on their learning in both languages and the arts, they co-develop a bilingual creative piece — transforming conversation, research, and reflection into a shared outcome.
