Working in bilingual pairs, students aged 14–16 in New York City and Madrid explore exhibitions, permanent collections, and artistic expressions from both cultural contexts through a guided, arts-inspired extracurricular experience. Designed as a Project By Design programme, Entwin-ed turns language learning into a living, collaborative practice — bridging languages, cities, and perspectives.
Entwin-ed Connects
It begins with connection. Entwin-ed pairs students from New York City and Madrid based on shared interests, creativity, and language ability. Each partnership starts by listening, questioning, and discovering common ground — establishing trust and curiosity across cities.
Entwin-ed Collaborates
Students then follow a personalised calendar of guided research and artistic exploration while using both Spanish and English with specific objectives. Through shared prompts, reflections, and light weekend meetings, partners exchange ideas and perspectives — bridging time zones through thoughtful, flexible collaboration.
Entwin-ed Constructs
Finally, students create together. Drawing on their learning in both languages and the arts, they co-develop a bilingual creative piece — transforming conversation, research, and reflection into a shared outcome.
